StavRate Cup

Basics

• Any player can participate in the Cup. To do so, you need to confirm your participation by submitting predictions for the qualifying round.
• All bets in the StavRate Cup become locked for editing after the start of the first match included in the participant's bet.
• Each Cup round, except the final and the third-place match, is played over two legs, and the aggregate result determines the winner of the pair. The final is played as a single match.
• The winner of each pair in a playoff round is determined using the following criteria:
  • Total points scored;
  • If still tied, prediction success rate in the current Cup;
  • Number of exactly predicted scores in the current Cup;
  • Total number of predictions scored in the current Cup;
  • Blind draw.
• If any match included in the bet is postponed, the administration may replace it with another match no later than 3 days before the start of the first match in the bet. Otherwise, the postponed match is removed from the bet.
• If any match in the bet does not take place or is not completed within 24 hours of its initial or planned start time, it is removed from the bet regardless of the circumstances.
• A round is considered to have taken place if 6 or more matches have been played.

Cup Bracket Formation

• After the qualifying round, all players who entered the tournament are distributed across different Cup brackets (independent tournaments).
• Each Cup bracket contains up to 64 slots, so a full bracket starts from the 1/32 finals.
• The number of parallel Cups (N) is determined by dividing the number of registered players by 64 and rounding up.
• To complete each knockout bracket to the required size (64, 32, etc.), byes are awarded to the highest-performing players based on the results of the qualifying round. A bye means automatic advancement against an empty slot.
• All remaining players are ranked by their qualifying-round results and then paired by seeding: highest vs lowest, second-highest vs second-lowest, and so on.
• These pairs are then distributed across the parallel Cup brackets in turn until all brackets are filled.

Super Cup

• The players who reached the semi-finals of the previous season's Cups qualify for the next season's Super Cup.
• If additional places are needed to complete the Super Cup bracket, they are filled by the highest-ranked players from the previous season who did not reach the semi-finals.
• With a large number of players, it is possible to hold several parallel Super Cups.
